Daniel Pichardo is a 2006 shortstop, third baseman, and outfielder with a 6'3" 190 pound frame from Reisterstown, Maryland who attends Franklin High School. He has a lanky body and is very athletic. Daniel is a right handed hitter who has a short swing. He is a contact hitter and makes hard line drive contact. He battles at the plate and has quick hands which allow him to wait back on his pitch. Pichardo is a very good defensive player. He moves very well at shortstop and has very good arm strength. He threw 81 mph from the infield during the workout with a very quick release. He has a great body and can play anywhere on the field. Daniel is very projectable with his body and defensive ability.
