Luke Busse is a 2028 RHP/1B with a 6-6 200 lb. frame from Lenexa, KS who attends Olathe Northwest. Extra tall and long build with lots of physical projection remaining. Works from a side step delivery with a low chest leg tuck, long and loose arm action to a low 3/4's arm slot, stays on line with a medium stride down the mound. Fastball topped out at 88 mph, works up in the zone with some carry on the fastball. Threw a mid-70's slider with some spin and bite as his breaking ball, gets some slurvy depth at times. Also flashed a change up that can be further developed. 5.27 runner in the forty. Secondary outfielder on defense, has step by step actions to the ball, has a loose arm with very good carry but actions are still developing. Right handed hitter, sets up in a straight stance with a small leg raise timer, unusual hand load and positioning, some uphill plane through the ball and got the ball in the air well. Named to the Kansas City Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
