2025 PG High School All State Select Championship (28-29 Grads)
Alvin Thomas III is a 2029 1B/RHP/3B with a 5-8 195 lb. frame from Canton, MS who attends Jackson Academy. Medium frame with strong lean mass throughout. Ran a 8.59 in the sixty. Primary first baseman, smooth two handed gather and clean moves throughout his round. Fields it clean with good turns to the bag and accurate throws. More arm strength in store as he matures. Right-handed hitter, wider base with open high hand set and active hands. Good toe tap creates rhythm and relies on a firm front side. Solid intent and quickness to swing with all fields impact. Works in rhythm and turns his core awfully hard through contact. Lots to like on both sides. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
