Tyler Langbein is a 2026 C/RHP/OF with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Kerrville, TX who attends Ingram-Tom Moore. Primary Catcher with a medium sized frame. Sets up with a square stance behind the dish. Pops up out of the crouch standing up and gets it out. Recorded a 2.28 pop time. Also played outfield with shorter arm action. Uses a 2-hand gather getting to the ball. Was up to 79 from the outfield. Ran a 7.00 sixty. Also pitched throwing from a 3/4 slot working inline down the slope well. Fastball worked up to 74 and could locate it. Went to a curve with heavy top to bottom shape and depth. Could land it at times. Right-handed hitter with a slightly open wider base and low elbow. Hands rear back a bit on the load. Uses a small leg lift and stride into contact for timing. Will need to get into his lower half more to tap into more power moving forward. Needs to clean up the barrel path as it gets inconsistently long at times. Good Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
