Brayden Morrison is a 2027 C/3B/MIF with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from South Plainfield, NJ who attends Union Catholic. Athletic, lean frame with plenty of room and time to physically mature. Recorded a 5.20 second forty-yard dash time. Primary catcher that received from a slightly side-saddled stance with softness to his hands and quickness out of the crouch. Gains ground towards his target efficiently, stays direct and quick with midline transfer into release. Delivered game-like throws up to 72 mph from behind the dish during drills. Secondary infielder with some bounce in his step. Displayed a quick first step, clean funnel out in-front and the ability to make the play on the run. Produced accurate throws up to 71 mph across the diamond and projects for more arm strength moving forward. Right-handed hitter that hits from a narrow, open base with a high, tight hand set and hover trigger. Line drive stroke with tons of present bat speed and impact out in-front. Really creates torque and leverage when on-time and in-sync. Will only continue to enhance overall hit tool with minor refinements to his swing and projects for more power as he continues to mature. Excellent Student. Named to the 2024 Northeast Indoor Top Prospect List.
