Alex Adkins is a 2026 2B/RHP/OF with a 5-8 145 lb. frame from Madison, AL who attends James Clemens. Compact, athletic build with room to continue adding strength. 7.17 runner in the sixty-yard dash. Right-handed hitter, wide and even base, high hands and back elbow set in the stance, small leg lift trigger, level barrel path through the zone with ability to impact the ball to the pull-side consistently. Performed extremely well in game action too. Primary second baseman, deep two hand funnel with fundamental footwork and step by step actions. Hands get down late at times and shows developing arm strength across the diamond, recorded throws up to 72 mph. Also worked out in the outfield and showed sound actions with similar arm strength, recording throws up to 77 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher, stretch only delivery, belt high leg lift, full arm path to a high three-quarters release point. Pounded the zone with a two pitch mix of fastball, up to 72 mph (1516 RPM) and worked in the 69-72 range and a curveball, up to 61 mph (1533 RPM) with bigger shape. Tremendous student. Named to 2024 Deep South High School All-State Games Top Prospect List.
