2025 PG Northern California High School All-State Games (Invite Only)
Keoni Kaanehe is a 2028 RHP/OF/MIF with a 5-11 145 lb. frame from Brentwood, CA who attends Liberty High School. Wiry young athletic build with lots of physical projection remaining. High energy delivery on the mound with a long and loose high 3/4's arm action, uses his back side well coming down the mound, downhill plane, will get rushed at times and lose his release point. Fastball topped out at 82 mph and was mostly straight, has been up to 86 mph earlier this summer at PG tournaments. Slider had some tilt and spin when he threw it with full arm speed up to 72 mph, was his best pitch in location and quality. Flashed a rare change up. 6.95 runner in the sixty. Worked out both in the infield and outfield with better actions and tools at present in the outfield, is aggressive to the ball on the grass and carries his momentum through his throws well, loose arm and gets on top of his throws well, nice carry with one hop accuracy. Has quick feet in the infield, will get his glove down late at times, longer arm action and release with solid arm strength across the diamond. Right handed hitter, sets up in a slightly open stance with low hand load and simple trigger, limited weight shift, loose hands, gets the barrel out front consistently for middle of the field line drive contact, good game swings. Good student. Named to the PG Northern California HS All-State Games Top Prospect List.
