2026 PG Sophomore National Showcase (2029 Grads)
Hudson Pursell is a 2029 RHP/3B/OF with a 6-3 175 lb. frame from Peachtree Corners, GA who attends Wesleyan. Long and lean young pitcher's build with big physical projection remaining. Works from a side step delivery with a low leg raise over the rubber and a medium length arm swing to a high 3/4's arm slot, gets downhill well. Fastball topped out at 89 mph with nice arm side running life, gets two-seam sinking action at his lower velocity spectrum. Threw a hard slider with nice glove side depth as his breaking ball, also killed the spin well to left handed hitters on a mid-70's change up. Starter profile who is going to really throw hard one day when he gets stronger. 6.87 runner in the sixty. Secondary outfielder on defense. Right handed hitter, has a short inside out swing, long arms and legs to control and time up. Excellent student.
