2025 PG Kansas City Indoor Showcase
Jalen Lawhead is a 2028 LHP/1B/OF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Goddard, KS who attends Eisenhower. Medium size build. Primary LHP with a three pitch-mix. Athletic mover on the mound with drop and drive mechanics and a clean arm action with a 3/4 slot. Solid average arm speed for the age with a fastball consistently in the upper 70's, locating to both sides of the plate. Developing secondaries with a breaking ball that shows vertical depth. Showed a feel to pitch in his outing on the mound. Showed fundamental footwork and glove actions in both the infield and outfield with average arm strength. Hit from a wide base, compact swing taking hands direct to the baseball, shows some present barrel speed with a level bat path through the zone. Mirrored swing from both sides of the plate with feel for the barrel. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
