Chase Porter is a 2025 OF/RHP with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Kearney, MO who attends Kearney. Taller build with athleticism and quick twitch actions. Ran a 6.53 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder who threw 83 mph during the workout, showing off impressive actions. He showed off a quick first step who goes and gets it. His footwork helps him get momentum working to the ball. He fields the ball off to the side, with intent to his actions. Throws were accurate to the bases from an over-the-top slot. Switch hitter. As a left-handed hitter he keeps the hands set high with a narrow base, showing off some juice in his swings with rotation to get over the front side and drive it. As a right-handed hitter he has a similar setup with a line-drive approach. Showed off good bat speed during his round, getting the hands to the ball with a direct path. It's a quick and compact swing. He was able to elevate the ball better from the left side but had an impressive round overall. Produced an 85 mph exit velocity. Excellent student.
