Mason Alcorn is a 2026 SS with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Murfreesboro, TN who attends Franklin Road Christian. Medium athletic build with some present strength and more to come. Right handed hitter, has quick twitchy hands that create good bat speed, short and controlled shift into contact, short swing that could use more extension through contact, was consistent with his timing and swing mechanics and stayed on the barrel. 7.37 runner in the sixty. Moves well to the ball, has some smoothness to his hands, stays balanced and works into his throws well. Well rounded tools and skills that should continue to improve with additional strength and repetitions. Good student.
