Gray Anderson is a 2028 3B/RHP/UT with a 5-10 185 lb. frame from Mountain Brook, AL who attends Mountain Brook. Medium athletic build with good present strength. 6.94 runner in the sixty. Primary third baseman on defense, step by step actions to the ball, tends to field it outside of his body, has raw arm strength but tends to be maximum effort in his throws with developing accuracy. Also worked out in the outfield and had very similar actions there, can improve at both positions by focusing on the fundamentals. Right handed hitter, sets up slightly open with a medium leg raise trigger, high hand set, tends to stay on his back side, pretty simple and repeatable swing mechanics with middle of the field line drive contact. Also pitched, works from the stretch with a low hand start and a 3/4's arm slot, deliberate pace down the mound. Fastball topped out at 81 mph with some run and sink. Flashed some sharpness and depth an a low 70's slider that can be further developed. Excellent student.
