2022 Northern California Workout Showcase (Saturday)
Sean McGinty is a 2023 C/1B with a 6-4 185 lb. frame from Walnut Creek, CA who attends College Park. Taller with a lean frame. Ran a 8.14 60-yard dash. Primary catcher with a square set up behind the plate, receives the ball deep, transfer is longer due to length and shows a shorter arm action and fringe accuracy to bases. Hits from a wider base and square stance with a high back elbow. Simple leg lift timing with a direct hand path and flatter bat path through the zone. There's some bat speed in there just figuring out how to use his leverage and elevate the baseball. Impacts the baseball best to the pull-side.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
