Kameron Volz is a 2024 RHP/IF with a 6-3 160 lb. frame from Cedar Rapids, IA who attends Prairie. He has a tall frame and a lanky build with plenty of room to add strength as he matures. Ran the sixty yard dash in 7.85 seconds. Primary right-handed pitcher that uses a knee to belt leg kick and works in line with the plate well. He has a long arm action and throws form a high 3/4 slot. He shows the ball early in the process and follows through off to the glove side a bit. His fastball is straight and he showed good control of it. His curveball has sharp break with nice 12-6 shape. His changeup is a solid pitch that works well off the fastball, showing nice fade to the offering. Secondary infielder that worked to get into position. He throws with the same long arm action that he does on the mound. Right-handed hitter that starts in an even base that is closed with tight hands. He has a deep hand load and hanging leg lift trigger for timing. He has a long swing that is rotational. Excellent student.
