Dylan Koehler is a 2029 LHP/1B/OF with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Bethel Park, PA who attends Bethel Park. Lean young build with lots of time and room to get stronger. Works from a side step delivery with a belt high leg raise and some coil at the top, longer arm action with a high 3/4's arm slot, medium stride out front, repeats his mechanics well for his age. Fastball topped out at 78 mph with some cut and run at different times. Curveball had 1/7 shape and some depth and deception. Also flashed a firmer breaking ball with slider shape. 7.85 runner in the sixty. Worked out in the outfield and at first base on defense, had some athletic actions at both positions and fielded the ball cleanly, arm played well and made accurate throws. Switch-hitter at the plate, better bat speed at present from the left side, has some lift in his swing and good extension out front, solid middle of the field contact. More spread from the right side with a hanging front leg timer, shoulder dip to start his swing, does swing hard and flashed some lift when he was on time. Good student.
