Gael Thomas is a 2028 OF/2B, SS with a 5-6 125 lb. frame from Los Angeles, CA who attends Harvard-Westlake. Features a smaller/wiry build with plenty of room/time to add. Ran a 7.77 60-yd dash. In the OF, showed developing actions. Waits back a tad early but gets set low to the ground. Fields it in the middle of his body but a bit deeper which caused him to boot one. Used a shorter arm action that got off higher arcing and accurate throws with avg. strength for his level. In the INF, his feet work well but showed stiffness to the glove actions. Gets to his spots with good posture but booted a couple because of glove skill and deeper reception like the OF. Shorter arm action in the INF as well that got off 50/50 accurate throws and where he would lower his slot at times. At the plate, he sits in an athletic/balanced stance. Uses a quiet toe tap trigger and his hands fire direct and quick throwing the barrel short-to-long through the zone flashing some above avg. bat speed for his level. Was on-barrel the majority of his round showing he can stay behind it well. Produced many quality LDs through the middle of the field. Hitterish vibes.
