Che Thomas Coleman is a 2027 LHP/OF with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Los Angeles, CA who attends Loyola. Lean young slope shouldered build with lots of room to get stronger. Works exclusively from the stretch with an on line arm swing and high 3/4's arm slot Fastball was in the low 80's and topped out at 85 mph, tends to pull across his body out front and work to the glove side extensively. Threw a soft 1/7 curveball as his breaking ball. 6.93 runner in the sixty. Secondary outfielder on defense, has a whippy loose arm action and showed his arm strength better on the grass, very athletic actions with lots of projection remaining. Switch-hitter at the plate, starts from a spread stance with a short stride into contact from both sides, has a solid well controlled swing, more present bat speed and ability to turn the barrel from the left side, finds the barrel well. Graded out higher as a position player than a pitcher at this event. Very good student.
