2024 California High School All-State Games (Invite Only)
Braden Turman is a 2026 1B/RHP with a physical 6-2 220 lb. XL frame from Bakersfield, CA who attends Garces Memorial HS. Started off the event clocking a 8.09 60-yard dash. A primary first baseman and secondary pitcher. Turman showed the ability to make all the plays working through the ball with confidence. Made crisp feeds to second base with solid arm strength and was smooth around the bag picking short hop throws. At the plate, he employed a full pull approach getting really rotational at times but squaring up a few. Showed good intent on the mound running the fastball into the high 70's and dropping in a curveball at 67 with spins just shy of 2000 RPM's showing sharp downward action getting chases and swing and misses. Good student.
