Malcolm Medina is a 2021 SS/ with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Watsonville, CA who attends Home School. Malcolm is an athletically built HS senior who shows great effort and commendable ability on the field. He ran a 7.45 60 yard dash. A primary shortstop, Malcolm is a pure effort guy. He works hard in every phase of his defensive game. His glove is sure and he shows a powerful 82 mph arm. His throws come out of his hand in a hurry and are firm and show routine accuracy. Appreciate his effort and energy he shows on defense. At the plate, one notices Malcolm's intent. He is not afraid to swing the bat. He is balanced at the ready and shows a quick trigger. There is obvious force behind his swing. He shows feel for the barrel and some emerging power potential. Malcolm is the kind of player teams win with. A noticeably dedicated player with high energy and passion.
