Meziah Clanton is a 2027 C/RHP/3B with a 5-5 145 lb. frame from Chesapeake, VA who attends Oscar F. Smith. Shorter build with some strength for his size and more to come. Right handed hitter, hits from a medium stance with a big barrel wrap load, short stride into contact, swing can long at times and best when he's fully extended, has some bat speed and strength at contact, some projection as a hitter if he can stay short enough. 8.45 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, sets up side saddle and high in his stance, compact arm action and makes accurate throws with a quick transfer, can continue to work on his lower half body life and flexibility. Took a turn on the mound, throws from a simple abbreviated wind up that he repeats well. Fastball topped out at 75 mph with some running life. Slider was a good second pitch for him with some shape and tilt, developing feel for a change up. Filled up the strike zone with all his pitches.
