2006 Mid-Atlantic Top Prospect Showcase
Michael Morro is a 2007 RHP/OF that attends Monsignor Farrell HS and resides in Staten Island, NY with a 5'11", 165 lb. frame. Michael has an athletic build and showed some solid hitting tools at the showcase. At the plate Michael has good extension in his swing and has the ability to hit the ball to all fields. On the mound Michael throws from a 3/4 arm slot with a short loose arm action. Michael has clean mechanics with good run on the ball and understands how to pitch. He is a low effort pitcher whose best pitch is a sharp 11 to 5 CB. Michael is a player that could attract attention from some smaller colleges.
