Aleks Elliott is a 2029 MIF/RHP/OF with a 5-8 135 lb. frame from Hoover, AL who attends Hoover. Lean young build with lots of room and time to get stronger. Right handed hitter, sets up in a comfortable stance with a short toe tap trigger and stride, rhythmic hand load, has a quick line drive swing plane with a middle of the field line drive approach, has some strength at contact, nice base swing to continue to develop, projectable hitting tools. 7.33 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder on defense, waits back on the ball, moves best laterally, tentative glove actions, longer arm stroke with developing carry and accuracy. Also worked out in the outfield, more aggressive to the ball here, similar longer arm action with a high 3/4's arm slot, crow hop into his release. Took a turn on the mound, same arm action here as well, gets some drive off his back side and stays on line well. Fastball topped out at 70 mph to go with a soft curveball. Bat is his best present tool. Very good student.
