Thomas Schnapp is a 2023 RHP/1B, OF with a 6-5 220 lb. frame from Livermore, CA who attends Granada. Large build with present physicality and room to still fill out as he continues to develop. Primary pitcher, has a short arm action from a high three-quarters to over the top slot. Works down the hill with a lower front side after separation. Fastball up to 82 mph with some occasional life to the plate. Will both run and cut his fastball at times. Working on consistency with his command. Mixes in a 10-to-4 shaped slider that sweeps across the dish. At first base, fields out in front, looks to stay in front of the baseball. At the plate, uses an upright and slightly open stance with good quickness to his hands. Longer overall stroke with a large linear weight shift in the box. Solid contact to all fields. Frame suggests his power tool will continue to improve.
