Samuel Dunbar is a 2023 3B/RHP, SS with a 6-2 160 lb. frame from Brea, CA who attends Brea-Olinda. He ran a 7.55 second sixty. A primary third baseman with a projectable build. On the infield he showed young actions with the glove with firm hands, he showed some athleticism going left and on the slow roller with eh ability to change the slot on the move. On the mound he worked from the stretch only with a longer arm action up the a high three-quarter arm slot using the lower half well to get down the mound. the fastball sat 75-77 mph while the curveball showed depth when he gets extended out front and stays through it and the changeup maintains arm speed with some tunneling factors from the same high three-quarters arm slot. Left-handed hitter, starts with a. wieght shift onto the back side a big leg lift trigger, he showed some feel for the lower half getting it engaged with a longer swing path that would work more to the inside part of the baseball.
