Luke Mottola is a 2024 OF/ with a 6-4 190 lb. frame from Orlando, FL who attends Boone. Tall, physical build with well-proportioned strength in the frame. Great runner, ran a 6.60 sixty-yard dash. Left-handed hitter, high hands and back elbow in the stance, toe tap trigger, uphill barrel path through the zone with obvious ability to lift the baseball to the pull-side. Leverages the barrel well and has great bat speed with real impact out front. Big power projection. Primary outfielder, under control actions working to grounders, carries weight through nicely, one hand gather on the side of the frame, has confidence in the glove. Long arm action to a higher release point, true flight on throws with carry right out of the hand. Made all the plays and showed good arm strength and accuracy, recorded throws up to 86 mph. Tremendous student. Named to 2024 Preseason HS Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
