2024 National Indoor Showcase (Saturday-Wentzville)
Brendan Pyle is a 2026 3B/RHP with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from St Peters, MO who attends Fort Zumwalt East. Works from a medium, athletic frame with broad shoulders and physical strength present. Primary third baseman, attacks the baseball with urgency and stays low as he works through it. Stayed light on the feet and demonstrated smooth glove actions. Breaks into a shorter arm stroke. Able to adjust arm slots and deliver consistently accurate throws across the diamond. Recorded arm strength up to 86 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher, utilizes a full wind-up delivery and belt-high leg lift before working down the slope. Breaks into a deceptively short arm stroke while accelerating into a three-quarters release point. Intriguing arm speed. Fastball showed tons of arm-side run and was located effectively in the lower-portion of the strike zone. Topped out at 90 mph. Mixed in a harder changeup with arm-side sink as well a mid-70s breaking ball with 11-5 shape and good depth. Right-handed hitter, starts in a narrow stance with a low back elbow and loose, low hand set-up. Remains synced-up while demonstrating clean lower-half movements. Works into a slightly uphill bat path, creating leverage to both gaps. Tons of speed and strength in the hands with favorable barrel consistency. Ran a 7.02 sixty-yard dash. Excellent student. Named to the 2024 National Indoor (Saturday-Wentzville) Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
