2024 WWBA Workout Showcase (July 14)
Dominic Civelli is a 2026 RHP/1B/OF with a 6-3 175 lb. frame from Wilmington, NC who attends New Hanover. Long and lean athletic build with some lower half strength, very projectable physically. Primary right handed pitcher who has been up to 85 mph this summer at PG events. Worked out in the outfield and at first base, showed his arm strength very well from the outfield, got on top of the ball from a high 3/4's slot and created accurate carry. Fundamentally sound footwork at first base with good athleticism, developing comfort with the glove work. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with a hanging front leg load, stays well timed with a low tension repeatable swing, solid line drive contact to all fields, hits with confidence. Good student.
