Antonio Cordeiro is a 2023 C/OF with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Pittsburgh, PA who attends Pittsburgh Central Catholic. Athletic build with some present strength. 7.42 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, sets up low and has good lower half flexibility and athleticism, game actions in drills, comes out of his crouch well and gains ground on his throws, clean in line transfer and makes accurate throws, next level defensive tools and skills. Right handed hitter, hits from a narrow slightly open stance with a drifting lower half shift into contact, has a short hands drive swing and good hand strength/quickness, has feel for the barrel and made solid pull side line drive contact, will occasionally get to his front side too early. Outstanding student. Named to the Western Pennsylvania Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
