Preston Knight is a 2028 1B/RHP/3B with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Montgomery, TX who attends Lake Creek. Nice young athletic build with some present strength and more to come. 7.53 runner in the sixty. Shows arm strength from a low ¾ slot with some angle and late life to the fastball; flashed feel for a 10-4 shaped breaking ball and a developing changeup. Delivery has some effort and works with a high leg lift and quick arm out front. Around the infield, displays solid hands and actions with some arm strength, quick feet, and smooth turns—especially around the bag. Good carry on throws and plays under control. At the plate, starts with a deep hand set and upright, narrow base. Shows occasional lift and strength when synced up, with present bat speed and ability to impact the ball pull side. Timing and barrel consistency are still coming, but there’s physical projection and some raw tools to work with across the board.
