Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and present strength to frame with additional room to fill throughout. Ran a 7.08 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, lower set behind the plate, gets tall coming out of crouch, gains short ground, can shorten actions, works to a higher release point on throws and shows carry out of hand with present arm strength, gets inconsistent with release point at times. Righthanded hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; utilizes a toe twist trigger for timing. Subtle shift through lower half, stays short to the ball and creates lift in swing path with carry coming off when squared. Quickness to hands, swings with intent and best when getting separated with swing, consistent contact to pull side with carry. Very good student.
