Russell Nordstrom is a 2024 C/3B/OF with a 5-11 210 lb. frame from Denver, CO who attends Regis Jesuit. Nordstrom works from a built frame with solid strength evident throughout. As a primary C, he displayed bounce out of the set with the ability to gain ground in the footwork and release with urgency, posting a 2.04 pop time. He generated arm speed through release, topping out at 74 mph. From the IF, he utilized a wider fielding base with soft hands and evident range up the middle, ultimately topping out at 80 mph across the diamond. Offensively, the righty displayed useable in game power, creating loud impact from gap to gap with carry and backspin production. Nordstrom lets the ball get deep with compact hand speed, posting an exit velo of 87 mph. Good student. Named to Top Prospect List.
