2021 Northwest Prospect Showcase
Zachary Frink is a 2025 3B/RHP, OF with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Lake Tapps, WA who attends Auburn Riverside. He ran a 7.87 second sixty. A primary third baseman with a tick build. On the infield he showed young actions waiting back on the ball receiving it with two hands with a longer transition showing developing arm strength across the diamond. In the outfield he plays the ball off his glove side with a developing actions as he transitions into a long arm action throwing from a higher slot. On the mound he worked from the wind up with a side step into a belt high leg lift with an average arm action as he drives down the mound showing good use of the lower half. The fastball sat 73-75 mph repeating the delivery well filling the zone and pairing it with a mid 60's breaking ball that displayed mostly 12-6 shape through the zone. Right-handed hitter, starts with a slightly open base sitting into the lower half, the top hand directs the swing with a longer path impacting the ball best to the pull side including in game action where he had multiple hits.
