Jackson Cheung is a 2025 C/MIF, OF with a 5-7 140 lb. frame from Berlin, MD who attends Stephen Decatur. Young, square shouldered frame with a lean and projectable build, has room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.23 60-yard dash. Listed as a primary catcher, only worked out in the infield in this look; fields the ball out front, clean glove at the ball, works through it with lower half and shows some aggressiveness in actions, long arm action with clean transfer, accurate throws with arm strength and carry that'll continue to develop. Right-handed hitter, begins with an open stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing and gets closed moving into contact. Contact oriented approach, shows some quickness to hands and works to the middle of the field. Intent in swing, patient approach, will continue to develop with added strength. Excellent student.
