Nate Vandersea is a 2022 SS/2B, 3B with a 5-8 165 lb. frame from Concord, NH who attends St. Paul's School. Medium, athletic frame with a mature build and present strength throughout frame. Ran a 7.16 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, moves well to the ball and showed off range in live action going up the middle, fields the ball out front with two hands, shows carry and arm strength on throws for the left side, quicker transfer and release, short arm action on throws and quick on the charge. Right-handed hitter, begins with an even stance and a high hand set and back elbow at the plate; stays inside the ball with hands, shows strength to them and will unlock additional pop with extension out front. Ball jumps off of the barrel when squared, can drive ball to the opposite field and shows carry. Good student.
