Alex Lopez is a 2028 OF/RHP/1B with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Mater Academy Charter. Recorded a 7.38 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder with strength and physicality. Showed methodical and deliberate footwork to his actions. Used a big crowhop and stayed accurate with a strong arm throughout. Arm plays well and recorded throws up to 87 MPH during workouts. Right-handed hitter and starts from a wide base. Swings the bat with lots of intent and to do damage. Utilized a pull side approach during the round and drove balls hard to left field. Has very good impact and strength at the point of contact and whips the barrel hard. Secondary right-handed pitcher and pitched exclusively from the stretch. Uses a leg lift to waist level and sinks into the lower-half. Lands on line, employing a medium length arm action, releasing from a high-3/4 slot. Possesses quality arm speed and fastball topped at 82 MPH with downhill plane through the zone. Throws the slider with conviction, maintaining arm speed on it well. Excellent student.
