2025 PG Mid-Atlantic Indoor Showcase
Tyler McCullough is a 2026 SS/RHP with a 6-5 195 lb. frame from Sicklerville, NJ who attends Timber Creek. Tall, lean build with long levers and tons of projection remaining. Primary shortstop, gets a quick first step on the baseball and moves to it well. Displayed developing lateral range and quickness in the dirt. Funneled the ball smoothly, accelerating into a clean arm path before releasing the ball from a low slot. Delivered accurate throws across the diamond while recording arm strength up to 84 mph. Secondary right-handed pitcher, worked exclusively from the stretch with a leg lift up to the chest. Separates his hands at the chin and into a deeper arm path. Creates extension while accelerating into a low three-quarters arm angle. Pushes off the third base side of the rubber. Works directly down the slope and over his front-side. Fastball showed arm-side run and sink, ultimately peaking at 85 mph. Mixed in a slurvy breaking ball with late depth to keep hitters mistimed. Offers a ton of upside from a physicality and velocity standpoint. Right-handed hitter, starts in a wider base with high and tight hands. Utilizes a simple stride for timing before working into a level bat path. Displayed rotational swing mechanics with extension created out in front. Has evident quickness in the hands. Produced fairly consistent contact to the pull-side during batting practice. Projects for more power with additional strength. Posted an exit velocity of 87 mph. Ran a 7.10 sixty-yard dash. Excellent student. Named to the 2025 Mid-Atlantic Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
