Owen Peters is a 2022 1B/RHP with a 6-6 225 lb. frame from Lake Zurich, IL who attends Lake Zurich. He has a large frame with a thick build that has present strength. Ran the sixty yard dash in 8.01 seconds. Primary first baseman that showed a good feel for the glove and funneled the ball well. He has good footwork in his throws and around the bag. Throws with a low arm slot and was accurate. Secondary right-handed pitcher that has a knee to chest leg kick and lands slightly closed off, giving him a crossfire look. He sits into his back hip a little bit and works down the mound well. He has a long, circular arm action and fires from a 3/4 arm slot. His fastball is straight and he showed good control of it. HIs curveball is a soft breaking ball that has downer action and he showed good feel for. Right-handed hitter that starts with an even base and an upright stance with a high back elbow. He uses a simple stride for timing. His swing is uphill and allows him to leverage the ball when he makes contact out in front of the plate.
