Wyatt Crosby is a 2023 2B/C with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Santa Clarita, CA who attends Golden Valley. Medium frame with length and lean build; space for added growth. 7.33 60yd. Utility type skills showing actions to play Catcher or Second Base. Behind the plate rocked into his throws utilizing quick hands for clean exchange keeping throws on the base. Received fairly well during gameplay with the ability to keep balls in front of him. Active feet and good lateral range in the infield; profiled best for second base with arm strength and actions showing the ability to play on-time in-game. Right-handed hitter, wide base with low hands and slight rock in the load. Compact swing focused on being direct to the baseball. Worked inside for low liners and spray type of bat. Found barrel consistently during games for hits with a similar contact-oriented swing. Arm strength and overall strength additions would improve profile with upside available in the catching skills and contact-oriented bat.
