Lio Garcia is a 2028 SS/OF with a 5-11 158 lb. frame from Suwanee, GA who attends Buford. Medium, athletic build with a high waist and projects well physically. Good runner, ran a 6.82 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, has an obvious bounce to the step with first step quickness. Takes quality angles and works around the baseball well, sound footwork and soft hands, gets the ball out quickly and can throw from all arm angles. Accurate around the bag as well. Right-handed hitter, upright and open base, small stride out into contact, has quick hands with nice control of the barrel and low effort impact to the middle of the field. Performs at a high level in game action too. Secondary outfielder, works downhill through the baseball, clean one hand funnel off the front foot, very good arm strength on display from the outfield, recorded throws up to 89 mph. Selected to the 2024 14u PG Select Festival.
