Caden Pearlman is a 2023 LHP/1B, OF with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Carlsbad, CA who attends La Costa Canyon. Tall, medium body with good length to the frame that bodes well for physical projection. Ran a 7.18 in the 60-yard dash. Left-handed pitcher, clean medium length and lands on line from a mid three-quarter release. Good direction and synced up delivery. Fastball showed heavy cut to the glove side in low-to-mid-80s. Solid fade and depth to the changeup and holds it out of stretch. Late sweep on the slider with good sink to armside, ability to throw strikes. Secondary outfielder, good footwork in drills and deliberate arm action. Strong carry to throws with carry to the bag. Left-handed hitter, wider base and high back elbow from medium hand set. Rotates hits well with good barrel tilt. Synced well from the group up with impact power to all fields. Solid two-way ability. Excellent student. Named to Top Prospect List.
