Michael Chin is a 2026 C/RHP/UT with a 5-9 185 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Episcopal. Compact athletic frame. Ran a 7,45 60-yard dash. Catcher that starts from a side saddle set up, quality receiver with soft hands working under the baseball, athletic mover on the catch and through, online footwork, quick transfer and a solid average arm with accuracy. Hit from a narrow base with load stride timing. Rotational swings, some ability to get in sync with backside rotation, generates some bat speed and shows strength in the swing. Level bat path with feel for getting to the barrel and a primary pull side approach. Intriguing ability to impact the baseball at the plate and control the game from behind the plate.
