Kyle Hawkins is a 2023 LHP/OF with a 6-4 185 lb. frame from Durham, NC who attends Ravenscroft. Long and lean athletic build with lots of room to fill in and get stronger. Simple leg raise delivery on the mound, slow pace to his actions, very compact arm action front and back, repeats his mechanics well. Worked in the upper 60's with his fastball with good command and some sinking action, challenged hitters with fastballs. Worked in some soft curveballs later in his outing effectively and could probably use this pitch more as he also threw it for strikes. 7.42 runner in the sixty, played outfield and first base when not on the mound. Left handed hitter, hits from an open stance, has a short line drive swing, tends to decelerate his barrel into contact and cut off his swing.
