Kevin McElroy is a 2024 SS/2B, 3B, OF with a 5-8 160 lb. frame from Epes, AL who attends Demopolis. Primary shortstop with a medium athletic build. Showed above average speed with a 6.95 second sixty. Works to the ball with developing footwork fielding the ball in the middle of the body. Does a nice job getting rid of the ball on time with a shorter arm action while showing some arm strength with accuracy across the diamond. Showed similar actions in the outfield as he takes a measured approach to the ball with easy carry on the throws doing a nice job of getting on top of the ball with accuracy. Right-handed hitter starts with a wider base shifting the weight to the back side. Showed some pop with a longer path that gets on plane early with hard linear contact to the middle of the field. Very good student
