Mack McGinnis is a 2025 3B/RHP/1B with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Largo, FL who attends Seminole. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and present strength to frame, additional room to grow moving forward. Ran a 7.70 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, fields the ball out front with some bend at the waist, can continue to come through the ball in release and incorporate additional lower half, tight and compact arm action/release on throws across diamond, shows carry on throws, glove plays at the ball. Also pitched, works exclusively out of the stretch, leg lift up to the belt at start; similar compact arm action to a high three-quarters release point. Repeats delivery well and powers down the mound well; short sinking action on fastball up to 81 mph, throws with intent and maintained velocity. Worked around the zone comfortably, curveball up to 70 mph with 11-5 shape and consistent depth through the zone. Right-handed hitter, begins with a wide base and a high hand set and back elbow in the box. Stays through the point of contact well, consistent swing and repeats it well while showing a handle for the barrel. Balance to swing with quickness in hands, projects well with added physical strength. Very good student.
