Connor Grey is a 2022 RHP/ with a 6-3 170 lb. frame from San Clemente, CA who attends Saddleback Valley Christian Schools. Medium to large build with good length. Plenty of room to fill out as he continues to develop. Primary pitcher, has a short arm action that comes up to an over the top to high three-quarters slot. Opens early down the hill and will fall off the mound slightly. Higher hands when set, fastball up to 78 mph, establishes it early and uses it often. Mixes in an 11-to-5 shaped curveball with good depth. From the outfield, fields out in front and makes good first step reads off the bat. Throws stay on line to all bags. At the plate, uses an upright and slightly open stance with a simple toe tap trigger. Lower handset, compact overall stroke, creates consistent backspin with a middle of the field approach. Good student in the classroom as well.
