Jaxson Smiley is a 2027 OF/RHP/IF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Friendswood, TX who attends Friendswood. Primary outfielder with a medium frame and lean athletic build. Recorded a 6.96 seconds 60-yard dash time. Moves well in the outfield with a one-hand gather to exchange. Carries the weight into throws with arm strength and accuracy. Worked in the infield with clean two-hand funnel out front with mid-body exchange. Secondary right-handed pitcher, staggered start on first base side of rubber. Rhythmic toe-tap delivery with a slightly closed landing at foot strike. Feel for the strike zone when inline down the slope with a fastball/curveball mix. Right-handed hitter, upright and even base. Quick hands with middle-of-field impact. Functional swing with barrel control through zone. Excellent student.
