LATEST PG SHOWCASE REPORT
2025 PG New England Indoor Showcase (Sunday)
Blake Wheatley is a 2028 SS/RHP/IF with a 5-10 140 lb. frame from Easton, MD who attends Saint Michaels. Lean young build with lots of growing ahead of him. 5.10 runner in the forty. Primary shortstop on defense, stays low and works through the ball well, has soft hands and clean glove work, makes accurate throws with some young carry, overall smooth and easy actions that project well in the middle infield. Right handed hitter, starts from a narrow base with a hanging leg raise stride into contact, gets his foot down on time, some lower half/back hip coil to drive his swing, has quick hands and is short to the ball, not strong enough to really drive the ball but has a very good swing to grow into. Excellent student. Named to the PG New England Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
