CJ Whitaker is a 2025 C/1B with a 6-5 175 lb. frame from Wendell, NC who attends Corinth Holders. Long, tall projectable frame with plenty of time and room to add strength. Recorded a 4.10 second thirty-yard dash time. Primary catcher that received from a side-saddle stance with softness to his hands and a slightly elongated mid-line transfer process. Works uphill out of the crouch, gaining ground slightly offline towards his target. Recorded fairly accurate throws up to 69 mph from behind the plate during drills. Secondary first baseman with deliberate actions to field. Bends slightly at the waist to funnel, showed some lateral range to either side and worked into a shorter arm action to throw. Recorded arm strength up to 78 mph during drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from a wider, even base with tight hands and a short, direct swing path. Uses rotational lower half mechanics and bigger movements into launch. Showed the ability to impact the baseball with authority to the middle-of-the field and displayed some feel for the barrel later in his round. Immensely projectable frame that will continue to improve with proper mechanical adjustments on both sides of the ball. Excellent Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
