Caden Podolske is a 2027 1B/LHP, OF with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Franklin, WI who attends Franklin High School. Physically advanced build. At first base, fielded everything cleanly with decent movements around the bag. Long arm action delivered strong accurate throws to both bases. Left-handed hitter, wide base, high hands, and slightly open stance. Initial move is a deep load that creates ample separation to leverage to barrel at impact. Path works with some loft present. Obvious strength when he gets to well extended impact. On the barrel often with solid power through middle and to the pull side. On the mound, he works with a big leg kick and full stroke to a three-quarters release. Fastball shows subtle arm side run and can entice swings working it off the plate away from the left-handed hitter. Soft 12-6 breaker has decent depth but not overly sharp. 8.02 60-yard. Excellent student.
