Matthew Villar is a 2025 RHP/3B with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Royal Palm Beach, FL who attends Palm Beach Central. Medium athletic build, room to fill in and add strength and muscle. Ran a 7.31 60-yard dash. Pitcher only, did not participate in any other drills. Right-handed pitcher, segmented delivery, rigid arm action, two piece, slow paced side step, lower three-quarters slot, leg lift above the belt, arm is late at times, spinner curveball with top to bottom shape, loose spin, working top of the zone with a fastball, sat in the upper 70's with it and topped at 80-mph, higher effort, subtle sink on the heater, struggles to get over front side, cuts himself off some, all around the zone with the heater. Time to get stronger and add more velocity to mix with some mechanical things to fix that will improve spin control.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
